1. Math Appreciation Day (Killeen)
DJ, games, puzzles, an escape room, origami, and a scavenger hunt.
In addition, attendees can enjoy a Planetarium show at 10:30 a.m.
This year, the special guest speaker is CTC graduate Scott Gosnell, who currently works as an engineer at Los Alamos on top-secret government projects. From 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Scott will share his journey, discuss his career path and his current work (focusing on unclassified material), and offer advice on how students can pursue similar careers.
A Q&A session will follow, with opportunities for individual conversations. In the afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., there will be Math Jeopardy in the Planetarium rotunda, featuring four teams of four participants who have signed up earlier in the day.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the escape room, scavenger hunt, and Math Jeopardy. This exciting day promises to be a fun and inspiring celebration of mathematics! Thurs 9AM-12PM
2. FUN KIDS SHOW (Killeen)
Enjoy amazing circus acts that will leave you in awe. Sing, play, and dance nonstop, plus take photos with your favorite characters. Fri @ 4:30PM & 7PM
3. YAC Youth Art Show (Killeen)
The Youth Advisory Commission is hosting the Youth Art Show as part of Global Youth Service Day! This event empowers youth by providing a creative platform to express their ideas. Youth can submit art pieces that reflect community and social issues, which will be displayed during the Spring Night Market. Attendees will vote throughout the event, and a winner will be announced that night. Fri 6PM-9PM
4. 🎭 SIX The Musical: Teen Edition (Killeen)
Chaparral High School Drama Department is performing SIX The Musical: Teen Edition.
About the show:

5. Kites for Kids (Killeen)
Peaceable Kingdom by Variety opens its Killeen retreat to the Bell County community for FREE family fun at Kites for Kids.
Activities: Kite Flying, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Carnival Games, Animal Sensory Station, A Bounce House, Sweet Treats, Barrel Train & More!

9. Poetry Festival (Salado)
Poets of all ages are invited to participate in the festival’s open mic portion. Each registered poet will have the opportunity to share their original work with an enthusiastic audience.
Celebrate the power of poetry and storytelling at this beloved annual festival! An inspiring afternoon of spoken word and community support.
This event is a fundraiser for Tablerock, with admission by donation. All proceeds will support ongoing renovations and upgrades to the amphitheater and outbuilding. Sat 12PM-6PM
10. Swap and Sing (Belton)
Clean out your closet and thrift new clothes!
How it works:
Option #1 - bring clothes you are getting rid of (any amount) to donate to the pop up thrift shop, then purchase a shopping bag for $5 and fill your bag with whatever pieces you find!
Option #2 - just show up (no clothes to donate) and purchase a shopping bag for $10 and fill your bag with whatever pieces you find!
There will be live music and the coffee shop will be open late for drinks. Sat 6:30PM-8:30PM
